Memphis Animal Services corruption extends to “independent” rescue org?
Jeanne Chancellor, head of Friends of Memphis Animal Services (a 501(c)(3) charitable organization comprised of MAS volunteers, which claims to be “independent of Memphis city government”), has been outed on a popular animal blog for using fake names to support MAS despite reported neglect, abuse and the call to kill all Pit Bulls within the shelter. While this might be eyeroll-worthy and nothing more, it seems Ms Chancellor is not just fangirling for MAS, she’s also outing whistleblowers. All while using a laptop provided by the City of Memphis.
