Deplorable conditions at NM animal shelter
Director Matthew Pepper left Memphis Animal Services amidst accusations of neglect and abuse. He has secured a position at Bernalillo County Animal Care Services where it looks as if neglect is business as usual.
“The KOB 4 On Your Side team found filthy conditions at the Bernalillo County Animal Care Services building. The investigation began when a whistleblower provided KOB with several photographs of unclean dog crates filled with dry urine and old feces. Some of the photos showed dogs inside those dirty crates.”
